Ping Email Subscription Service
Enfeedia uses the mail delivery service of Google's FeedBurner. Easy registration
processes are provided for people to stay in touch with your news. Email is typically issued
overnight so the notice is awaiting the subscriber's in-basket in the morning.

Embed Online-Elsewhere Image
If an image is online somewhere on the internet other than Flickr, it can be embeded as your item image by referencing its URL. To reference images on Flickr or to fetch
and image from your computer or smartphone (either from its 'camera roll' or equivalent, or by taking the picture while you are posting the item), refer to the next
two features.

"Super Simple Syndication"
"Super Simple Syndication" is the embedding of a news feed (or typically portions thereof) on your website without uploading a script to your website. Instead,
the one-line code snippet that Enfeedia provides invokes a service at the Enfeedia website to generate the corresponding HTML code which ends up replacing
the code snippet. Using Enfeedia's Original Syndication method instead requires fetching from Enfeedia the latest version of the script that generates the
HTML code and uploading it to your website; the code snippet then invokes that script now on your website.

Attached FeedBack Comments
Allows readers of a feed to post comments for items, on an item by item basis. Comments
are displayed by clicking the "FeedBack" link that appears at the
beginning of the item description for feeds enabled for FeedBack. The account name
for the person posting a comment is presented immediately preceding the comment, with
the account name being a text link that links to the poster's account directory where
all feeds for the poster are listed with buttons for accessing them, for syndicating them
and for setting up ping alert email. The owner of the feed has the privilege of removing offensive
comments in several degrees, ranging from removing the offensive comment to blocking
the poster from ever again posting comments on feeds in this account.

Random Item Selection option
Allows you to specify that a number of items from the feed can be randomly
selected for display on a website page. The randomly selected items are presented in the same order they
would appear had this random selection feature not been used. Whenever the page
is opened, a new random selection is made such that the viewer and search engine
spider sees fresh content with virtually every visit to the page.

'Calendar' Feeds
Calendar feeds are different from traditional feeds with items shown in reverse chronological posting date in that they are shown in order of event
dates. You specify event dates when you post the item. When you syndicate a Calendar feed, you have a choice of presenting it in either chronological or reverse
chronological order. The former is perfect for events that have already taken place that document what happened at the events because the most recent
event will be shown at the top of the feed display with the oldest at the bottom. The latter is perfect for events yet to happen because the event coming up
next is at the top and the event furthers our into the future is at the borrom. You can actually syndicate a Calendar feed twice on the same webpage, for
example, to present forward and backward looking views of the calendar. And what's at the top of each is most likely the most relevant to the viewer. The
Calendar feed obviates the need for someone posting events to try to manipulate posting dates to get the events in the most human-friendly way. All
of the above descibes how Calendar feed behave when syndicated using Enfeedia's syndication tools.

'Subchannel' Feeds
Subchannel feeds refer to using the Category filter mechanisms Enfeedia provides, such that when you syndicate a feed using Enfeedia's syndication tools,
you can specify a filter to present just those matching items. You could, for example, identify a half dozen filters you would use consistently across
all items, and syndicate the feed in a half-dozen different places on your website using the filters, to give the illusion of more than one feed. Because
feeds are sometimes referred to as channels, we gave the moniker Subchannel to feeds using this mechanism

Embed YouTube and Vimeo videos into feeds
When posting an item, you will have the opportunity to get code snippets from YouTube and Vimeo to include in the posting form. Instructions are provided at
that point. Enfeedia takes care of the
rest in generating the feed file, resulting in the video being embedded in the item description.

'Freelance Feature' with Autologging
The "Freelance" feature provides the ability for an account owner
to grant to another person access privilege to a specific item on the account
owner's feed by associating a password with that item. The freelance writer can edit that item, but cannot originate
or delete the item. A freelance writer can choose to have his/her own Enfeedia account
and automatically log items ("Autologging") that are posted onto
that freelance item onto another feed (s)he designates
as a "log feed", perhaps in his/her account. The log feed accumulates
all postings on that particular item in the other feed. In other words, whenever
the freelance writer edits that item on the other account, the same item gets
posted on the log feed.
The account owner could decide to associate the same password to several items giving the freelancer the ability to access
all thos items. And just because one item has a freelance password associated with it does not mean all items must. There is
no limit to the number of passwords that can be assigned to feed items up to the number of items in the feed.

'Headline' Feature
The "Headline" feature provides the ability, when posting an item
onto any feed, to automatically post the title (headline) of that item as
an item onto a feed designated by the account owner as the headline feed in
that account. The headline is a link back to the full item being posted on
the other feed. One can use a headline feed as a "most recent postings"
listing which links the user to the full items on other feeds in that account. The
headline feed is especially useful if you use a quite a few feeds.

Members-Only News Items
With Members-Only items, you can control access to news item descriptions,
to your "members" by special password. This feature combines public
access to standard news item descriptions and private access to the members-only
news item descriptions. Within a feed marked "Members Only", public
vs private access can be controlled on an item by item basis. Because links
in private items cannot be seen by the public, private items can give members
access to private online documents while maintaing the privacy of those documents.
Keep in mind that privacy is a relative thing because a member could give
a non-member the password. No online security measures are any good if a peson
privileged with access codes gives those codes away.
